Hi I'm Annika

I'm a Mom of five, writer, reader, and blogger. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay-at-home mom of five children. I have a passion for writing, and am currently working on an Historical-Fiction. I read and review anything I can get my hands on which is not crude or vulgar. I blog about my adventures of being a mom, an aspiring writer, book reviewer, and a follower of Jesus Christ, crammed into one little ol' me. I suffer from Fibromyalgia, and other chronic medical conditions which have only brought me closer to my Savior. When I'm not doing the above mentioned I find gardening therapeutic. Specifically flower gardens. I feel such a sense of accomplishment when I look at a beautiful flower garden I helped create! In the evenings, after the little ones are in bed, I'm most often found curled in the recliner, in my pj's, with a good book, and some chocolate!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love my Heavenly Father, and my Redeemer, Jesus Christ. I know He knows me personally, and wants me to be happy. The fullness of His gospel is what brings me the most powerful, and lasting joy imaginable. He lifts me up and guides me through the challenges and trials of this life, blessing me beyond comprehension. His gospel gives me my purpose, strength, peace, and guidance. I would be lost without it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to remember to always focus on that which is most important, my faith and family. No matter how hectic life becomes my relationships with my husband, my children, and my Savior come first. I find strength in service, and striving to see others as the Lord would see them. I love working with the young women and helping them to make good decisions, and prepare them for their roles as women. My life is more full when I am dedicated to fulfilling these roles.
