Hi I'm Jessica

I am a wife and mother. I love singing and danceing to Britney Spears. I am a daughter of God. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of 5 siblings. I am a wife, mother, daughter, cousin, aunt and student. I am married to the love of my life and we have 2 handsome sons. I love music, singing, and of course shopping! I grew up in the church but my parents weren't very active...I tried to attend church as much as possible but growing up inactive it was easy to stray off the straight and narrow. But, after the birth of my first son I knew that it was important for the well being of my family to attend church regularly, so I did. After a while my husband began discussions with the missionaries and was baptised into the church. This gospel has blessed my life in so many ways and I have a strong testimony of repentance and the love that our Father in heaven has for each and every one of His children.

Why I am a Mormon

I find no greater peace than knowing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Understanding the Atonement that through Him we are promised such wonderful blessings. The promise of eternal families is such a wonderful gift that threw the teachings and the restoration of His church we are promised that Families ARE Forever, for time and all eternity. My brother was Killed In Action in Afgahnistan and 3 1/2 months later my sister died in a car accident. I know that I will see my brother and sister again and it is because of this gospel that I am able to endure these tragedies well because Heavenly Father loves us and he has a plan for each of us. Because of the covenants I have made in the Temple I have an eternal perspective beyond what I can imagine...Time for all Eternity. Families truly are Forever.

How I live my faith

Every month I have the opportunity to gather with other women in the church and learn things like how to decorate cakes, sewing, and also how to better serve others. I also get to visit with fellow sisters monthly...its a great way to get to know other women who are going threw some of the same things as I am. I have the opporunity to share my talents with others whether it may be from helping an elderly sister with housework, singing during sacrament, teaching sunday school or just sharing my smiles with others all of these things bring my life so much joy.

What is being a Mormon like?

It truly is like being a part of a great big family. Where you meet others that have the same morals and values that you do. Not only are you building great relationships with others but you have the opportunity to build such a strong relationship with Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father and understanding His plan for us. It also is having a great understanding of what this life is meant for and understanding the plans that Heavenly Father has for us to ultimately return to Him. Show more Show less
