Hi I'm Greg

I live in Southern California. I am married with 3 kids. I love to watch and play all sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a large family and was raised LDS in Southern California. I played baseball and soccer in high school. I loved to go on family vacations and had a wonderful childhood. I served a mission for the church in Taiwan and was introduced to the Chinese culture and fell in love with the people. My mission was truly memorable and to this day think about it often. I studied finance in college and graduated from a university in California. I am a father to 3 beautiful children that mean the world to me and have been married to my best friend for 14 years. I love to spend time with family and laugh every opportunity I get. I enjoy watching and playing sports and am a fan of local teams. I like to meet new people and serve in the Church. I truly feel blessed and love life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an LDS family with LDS ties going back many years. I attended church each Sunday and went to seminary when I was in high school. I never questioned the church because I had gained a testimony at a young age. I remember having personal prayers and knowing I had the faith that my prayers would be answered. I witnessed many answers to my prayers and always knew this gospel was true. In preparation to serve a two year mission, I read the Book of Mormon entirely and did what we are counseled to do in Moroni 10 to find its truthfulness. I remember the feeling that I got after I offered prayer to this day. From the many spiritual experiences that I was blessed to have, I have a responsibility to testify to others that this church is absolutely true. I know that Joseph Smith restored this church and translated the Book of Mormon. I know that we are lead today by a true prophet of God that receives revelation. I know that with my priesthood authority I can also receive revelation for my family. I am constantly asked why I am a Mormon and I love to share experiences that I have had my entire life that gives me confidence in answering this question. I am thankful that I can be together forever with my family and for the plan of salvation that spells out so perfectly how I can return back to my Heavenly Father. This is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I love to serve in the Church. My family is very blessed right now to be serving in a Mandarin Chinese Branch. We absolutley love to be with our Chinese Brother and Sisters and have had many opportunities to share our testimonies. My wife is trying to learn Chinese and our children have picked up quite a few terms from sitting in church. We have many great activities including celebrating the Chinese New Year and all the other wonderful Chinese holidays. We have seen many miracles happen and are truly inspired by these wonderful people. I love that our church has grown so much where it doesn't matter what part of the world you are from, there is always a connection through the church.
