Hi I'm Paul

I'm a Mormon and use my bachelor degree to clean windows for a living. It's the means for ample family time.

About Me

I'm a father to three boys and one girl and a husband to a beautiful wife, Whitney. I've worked with the youth for over seven years and really love the outdoors as my classroom as we learn and teach priesthood and scouting values. As a profession, I own and operate a small window cleaning business which takes me into the homes of many types of people of many religions and cultures. I love to observe family values in these homes and have found many of these home to have exceptional family values. I love working with the people. Clean windows is just a fraction of the satisfaction I get from my line of work. I'm able to make time for family, church, and my hobbies. One of the things I like to do more than any other recreational activity is backpacking into high mountain lakes or desert canyons. Gardening and keeping up my yard is a favorite pass-time and playing with my kids is relished, especially when life gets busy.

Why I am a Mormon

Though I was raised by a Mormon family, I was given the opportunity to choose to accept the doctrine and live the commandments. I have found that as I strive to live a Christ-centered life, I receive inspiration and answer to prayer. When I sin, I repent and correct the wrong. I am grateful to the Savior, Jesus Christ for paving the way to a full life and eternal purpose.

How I live my faith

Living my faith as a lifestyle is simple. It is the daily situations that really test my faith. I recently came down with pneumonia and was laid up for 23 days. Day after day, I questioned why, and near the end of the illness I was lacking faith and trust. Through it all I learned that my loving Heavenly Father, wants me to be meek and humble and call upon him at all times. I find courage when I conquer a trial and when I rely on the grace of Christ's sacrifice. I'm not always successful, but I try to be kind to others and be willing to share my faith. I donate to those in need and pay tithing which is a sacred way of supporting the work of the Lord by providing temples and meeting houses to worship. I dedicate Monday evening religiously to family night Family Home Evening, and hope to share great memories with my family. The church has assigned me to work with the youth and I try to be an example to them and teach them how to be leaders and find courage in following Christ.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Paul
The missionaries will talk about our Heavenly Father and the Savior Jesus Christ. They will also talk about the plan that Heavenly Father has for all of his children to return to live with him. They will use the scriptures to teach the Gospel like the Bible and another book of scripture called The Book of Mormon. They will give you the opportunity to study these books of scripture and find out for yourself its truthfulness, through study and prayer. These scriptures are the Word of God and are revealed through God's prophet or prophets. They will teach that God still follows this pattern of revelation in modern times. They will teach you to pray if you don't already know how. Show more Show less
