Arnie: family man, grandfather, retired military, veteran, Mormon.

Hi I'm Arnie

About Me

I grew up on a dairy farm outside Spokane. My wife and I will celebrate our 47th wedding anniversary in November. We've lived in many places in the US and overseas and are the parents of four sons and 11 grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the Church but, like all true converts, received a witness from the Holy Spirit that it is true. This happened whan I was about 16 when my father challenged me to study the scriptures, especially The Book of Mormon, and ask God if it was true.

Personal Stories

What are you doing to help strengthen your family and make it successful?

Presently our family is going through a hard time with our five-year old granddaughter undergoing treatment for brain cancer. Her daddy, our son, gave her an inspired priesthood blessing and we have great faith that the promises made to her will be fulfilled.

How I live my faith

Family is key to my spiritual life. The Gospel gives me the opportunity to spend the eternities with my wife, children, and grandchildren. I have served in about every calling in the ward that a man can have.
