Hi I'm KC

I AM A MORMON. Right Now I Am On A Mission In The Montana Biliings Mission!

About Me

I grew up in Ogden, Ut for 18 years of my life. Then my senior year in high school my dad, my mom, and I moved down to St. George, Ut. When I turned 19 I decided to go on a mission to serve the Lord. I left for my mission about 4 weeks after I got out of high school. Now I am loving it up here in the Montana Billings Mission. The things I love to do back at home are spend time with my family. They mean so much to me. I love the out doors, being out doors in St. George, there is so much rock climbing, rappelling and hiking. I have really come to know that there is a God. The out side world is so beautiful if you just sit down for a little and look past all the scum of the world.

Why I am a Mormon

After I moved down to St. George I found some good friends. At first I did not know the influence that they had by living a life as Mormons and by living a life by gospel standards and living a good life. But over time I could see how it helped them in school and in life. They could see more in life than I could see. I wanted more, and I wanted to have what they had. When I was in Ogden that was never on my mind. Church was not on the top of my list. But after I saw how much living by the standards of the church and how much it could help, I wanted more in life. So one day I was talking to one of my friends and I asked him: "How did you know that the church was true? There are so many out there why did you choose this one? And how did you find out it was the true one?" So he told me how he found out. It really hit me hard. Then after we talked about how he found more in life. He told me I should talk to his dad. His dad is a leader of the Church in my area. I took my friend's advice. So that night I text his dad and told him what happened. I told him that I would like to come talk to him sometime. He text back "what are you doing tomorrow after school?" I then told him "nothing." He then told me "I want you to come over to my office and we can talk then." I even asked him if it was going to work because "you are a busy man with him being a lawyer." He told me: "Its OK I just changed all my day around. You can come over." So the next day I went over there just thinking it would be a hour or so,but we ended up taking for close to 3 hours I think. We talked about what is the purpose of life? What am I doing here? And what do I need to do. I asked him how did you know what to do in life. I have along life in front of me. I what to know what I need to do. Then I asked him how did you find out that this church was the true church of Christ. That this is the one you needed to join. He went on to say "I'm not going to tell you. I would not want to deprive you from the way I found out." I said, "what do you mean?" He then told me that he wanted him and I to kneel down in his office and for me to pray unto the lord and ask him what I need to do and if the Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder Day Saints was the true church on the earth. So I did. That is why I am a Mormon today. When I prayed and asked what do I need to in life is it going on a mission, and is the church true. Right after I said that the spirit just filed the room and I could feel it so strong in my heart and mind that I just went in to tears, and could not say any thing for a good minute or more. After I prayed I told him thank you so much for having me pray and for you not telling me how you found out. Now I know for my self that this is the true church and I need to go on a mission.

How I live my faith

Well, right now I am living my faith by going out every day and testifying for Christ, and strengthening people's faith in the Montana Billings mission area for 2 years of my life.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

We all can increase our faith in Christ by living by his teachings and by daily prayer, scripture study, and by accepting the things that come up in life. And by praying and asking the Lord if it is right. Show more Show less
