Hi I'm Ty

I'm a Mormon, and I love it! There is nothing that means more to me than my religion. I love Jesus Christ!

About Me

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm very proud to be a mormon, and I know with all my heart that the church is true. I was privileged to serve a mission in the Philippines Angeles Mission. It has been the best time of my life up to this point! I loved every minute of it...and the reason? I LOVED preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. It was an incredibly amazing, and life-changing experience. I will never forget the memories that I made there, and the people that I helped to come closer to their Savior, and truly KNOW Jesus Christ. I know that this is the only religion where we have the fulness of the Gospel restored to the earth through the prophet Joseph Smith. I love our modern day prophet, Thomas S. Monson, and I know that he continues to receive revelation for us in these latter-days. I love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and will dedicate my life of service to Jesus Christ, and his one true church.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Mormon church, because both of my parents are Mormon. They were sealed in the Salt Lake temple together for time and all eternity on September 2, 1973. This means that I am "born in the covenant". This is really neat because it means that I can be with my family forever. I can't wait for that great and amazing opportunity, and for the opportunity to raise my own eternal family someday.

How I live my faith

One of the ways I live my faith is by obtaining and keeping a "calling". What this is, is something that you do at church to help out! My calling, for example, is being a primary teacher. I get to teach 12 year old kids about the gospel! It is a very neat, as well as a humbling experience. I love it. I also live my faith by following the commandments, including a monthly fast for 24 hours, donating 10% of my monthly revenue to the church, and strict abstinence before marrige. I also do not drink any type of alcoholic beverage, coffee, or smoke cigarettes. These principles that I live by bless my life in so many different ways, and I know that they will do the same for anyone who follows them.
