Hi I'm Glenn Andrew Salter

I grew up in Stony Plain Alberta Canada. I'm a Student at MacEwan University and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to play basketball, snowboard and paintball. I am Married to a wonderful, beautiful and talented lady who I love and adore. I am a student and working towards being a audiologist.

Why I am a Mormon

I was able to grow up being a Mormon in good Mormon home. My parents taught me about Jesus Christ and His Atonement. I knew that God would answer my prayers, but as we all do, I came to a cross roads in life. I could not live off the belief of my Parents. I had to find out for myself if what they believed was true. I'm a Mormon because I know that Jesus is the Christ. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is he restored church on the earth. I know that The Book of Mormon is true because it testifies of Christs divinity so plainly. If Jesus is the Christ and the Book of Mormon testifies of Him, then Joseph Smith, who translated the Book, is a prophet of God. The Spirit of God has touched my heart and confirmed these truths to me. I am grateful for the knowledge I have of God the Father and His some Jesus Christ. It brings me hope that I can repent and through the Atonement become cleansed from sin. It gives me great comfort to know that if I do all I can, I will be able to see my Savior again in all His Glory. That is why I'm a Mormon

How I live my faith

I was able to serve a full time, 2 year, mission for the church in St. Louis Missouri. I am grateful for that time and i love the people in that area. I am now serving in the church as a Ward Mission Leader. My responsibilities are to direct the missionary work in my area and work closely with the full time missionaries. Our goal is to bring souls unto the Savior Jesus Christ. We strive to accomplish this by service and teaching others about our faith. I am also a home teacher, where I try and serve and teach the gospel principles to the families I have stewardship over.
