Hi I'm Brad Holm

I love my family. I get a rush practicing law. I find peace in the Arizona high country. And I'm blissfully, contentedly Mormon.

About Me

I have five children--four boys and one beautiful daughter. I currently have eight g'kids--five little boys and three little girls. My life is full of activity and fun. I love American history and current events. I love/hate politics. My favorite place to live other than Payson, Arizona is Washington D.C. I have a wonderful wife who keeps my life very interesting. I run to relieve stress. I am inspired by good people who undertake difficult tasks and succeed in doing good. I love America.

Why I am a Mormon

I have read the Book of Mormon several times--over 20--and in two different languages. I marvel at its power and depth. The Holy Ghost has borne witness to me that it's true. The Book of Mormon testifies of Jesus, who I know is the Son of God and Savior of the world.

How I live my faith

I love teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ! My Church assignment requires me to teach young people once a week. I see blessings in my life as a result of my efforts. The work changes me, even though I am ostensibly helping others. I search the scriptures each day. I'm inspired by the words of life and the spirit's power to illuminate them on the printed page.

What is being a Mormon like?

Membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has its privileges. The most remarkable one is documented in the New Testament book of Acts. After Jesus ascended into heaven, the Holy Spirit actively witnessed to ordinary men and women that Jesus is the Christ, the son of the living God and the Savior of the world. Thousands joined the Church, which had consisted of about 120 souls at Jesus' ascension. See Acts, ch. 1, v. 15. With the restoration of the gospel in our time, members of the Church receive the Holy Spirit as their constant companion. The Spirit literally guides us in daily decisions. He speaks peace to our souls in troubled times. He comforts us when we mourn. He is the guiding light of our lives. Most importantly, he reminds us that Jesus is the Christ, the author and finisher of our faith. This is a truly extraordinary gift!  Show more Show less
