Hi I'm Cindy

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother, wife, and a fitness enthusiast. I enjoy spending time with my family, being involved with church, and doing anything outdoors. I have a degree in human services, but am a stay at home mom.

Why I am a Mormon

It's easy to get lost in this world and be pulled in different directions. Sometimes is hard to tell what is right and what is wrong. I am grateful to have a testimony that I am a daughter of my Heavenly Father, that I have divine worth. I know that families are holy, and were created by our Father in Heaven to bring lasting joy and happiness. I know Jesus is my Savior. I am grateful everyday as I kneel and ask for forgiveness of my sins, to know that Christ died so I can repent. He loved me enough to atone for my sins, so that I can have the opportunity to live in Heaven with my family forever, and have joy. I have felt the warmth of the spirit testify of these things to me over and over, in simple ways. I believe in the power of prayer, and that Heavenly Father hears me, he knows me personally and that he loves me more than I can ever comprehend. I know the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ, that goes hand in hand with the Bible. I have read it, and it has brought me peace, and truth. I also have a firm testimony that Joseph Smith was a prophet.

How I live my faith

Being a mother is hard work, I need to Lords help to be the best mother I can be for my children. There are so many choices to make about what is best for my children on a daily bases, that it can sometimes be overwhelming. I have to be on my knees daily asking for help, strength, and guidance. I have to read my scriptures and ponder on the examples of the people in it's pages. When I do these things I can feel the tender love of my Heavenly Father and know that He knows me, that He is helping me. I don't understand everything that happens in this world, there is a lot of good, and a lot of bad. When I see the bad, I just have to have an eternal perspective and know that Heavenly Father is in control and he is perfect, and the Saviors atonement is enough.
