Hi I'm Jensen

I grew up in Utah. Served a mission in Montana. Love to play Basketball. I'm a Mormon!!!

About Me

My name is Jensen Nelson. I am currently serving a mission in the Montana, Billings mission. I am from Orem, UT. I love to play sports. Mainly basketball and baseball. Hanging out with friends is always fun. But as for right now nothing brings more joy than preaching the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

Well to be honest, to begin with I was born into the religion. I think this is the case with a lot of people. Growing up I just did it cause the family did it. But I couldn't ride on my families testimony my whole life. I had to get down and pray to know for myself that its true. I know with all my heart that it is. I love living a life with high standards and the way that Jesus Christ would have me live. I'm not doing it perfectly but striving to is my goal. I am a mormon because I know that it is true

How I live my faith

How I live my faith.....easier said than done. But as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, its possible. Truly forgetting about myself and worrying about others is the best way to live your faith. Helping others as Christ would. In the church we try to serve others as much as we can. Hometeaching and Visiting teaching is a program where with a companion you go into another members home. You teach principles of the gospel and also serve them in any way you can. Being a hometeacher as helped me fulfill my purpose as a member of Christs church. I love being LDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Without a shadow of a doubt. There are three question you have to ask yourself. Does God love us as much as he loved the people back in Moses' time? Does God have the same power he does in Moses' time? Do we need God as much as they did in Moses' time? The answer to all three should be a pretty bold YES. So WHY NOT?!?!?!?! Show more Show less
