Hi I'm Steve

I was born and raised in New England. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! I am a ham radio operator (N2ZNU). I have been married for 52 years and have three children and seven grand children and two great grandchildren. Since becoming a member of the Church in 1976 I have served in nearly all Priesthood callings. Most recently as a Bishop and High Councilman in our Stake.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a good catholic. My dad past away when I was 19. No priest, nun, or anyone in the church could explain to me how and why my dad would never meet my future spouse and family. It just didn't seem right to me. Close to 15 years later in my living room a young 20 yr. old LDS missionary taught my wife and I and our three little children our Heavenly Father's plan for happiness. "Families are forever" made sense to me. We were baptized soon after.

How I live my faith

I try very hard to be of service to others whenever I can. I learned long ago that "People don't care how much you know...until they know how much you care". At present, Sister Landry and I are fulfilling a dream. We are serving as full time service missionaries in the Buffalo New York Stake.

Why do Mormons believe in “eternal life?”

Steve
I realized at a very young age that my earthly father loved me and wanted me to have everything he had. Over time I also realized that my Heavenly Father wanted the same for me. This seemed logical to me. I know of no other church on earth where this gospel principle is being taught. Show more Show less
