Hi I'm NaDee

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 3 daughters and 3 sons each of whom has a spouse. They are all parents so all together I have 29 grandchildren. Several of my grandchildren have children so I have 19 great grandchildren. Families are very important to me. Some of my most enjoyable activities in life have come through my membership in the Mormon Church The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My husband, Jack, and I spent 23 months on a mission in Durban South Africa. We served a part time service mission with LDS Employment Services.

Why I am a Mormon

I was actually born to parents who were members of the church. I have 7 siblings and we are all close as a family. The church offers us many opportunities for service. I love being able to share my love for the gospel with friends and people I meet. I have two grandsons on missions right now and I am very proud of their willingness to go out into the world and share their testimony and love of the gospel for 2 years. I know they will not only help others to understand God's plan for us here on the earth, but they will grow and develop into the men that Heavenly Father has prepared them to be. Since I first started this profile, my oldest daughter and her husband have begun and completed serving a mission teaching Native Americans to have home gardens in North Eastern Arizona.

How I live my faith

A lot of what I know and the talents I have developed have come from the opportunities I have accepted in working in the various organizations of the church. For many years I worked with the youth. More recently I have worked with the women's organization. I have gained poise and self assurance along with knowledge as I have tried to serve.

If we think that we have something special, why wouldn't we want to share it with someone else? Show more Show less

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

When we speak of a testimony we are committing ourselves to a knowledge that Jesus Christ is the center of our religion. We gain a testimony from studying the scriptures, obeying the commandments and serving others. We feel the love of Christ in our lives. Show more Show less
