Hi I'm Jeremy

I am living my dream of being a father and a husband. I srive to educate people about financial prudence. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a married father of 6 children ranging from 9 years old to 20 months. My wife and I have been married for just over 10 years and have lived almost all of our lives in California. I love to read, run, hike and, most of all, spend lots of time with my family. I am in the credit union/banking industry and I love helping youth to understand the importance of financial education and prudence.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up the youngest of four children with a single mom who strived everyday to follow the commandments of God. In her everyday life she helped me to have a desire to learn about Jesus Christ and to seek truth. I was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when I was eight years old but have spent my whole life striving to strengthen my testimony of the Gospel. I know Jesus Christ is my Savior and I know He has restored His church upon the earth.

How I live my faith

I have a wonderful opportunity to ensure the teaching in my stake is being done effectively and according to the correct doctrine of the restored Gospel. I am fortunate enough to meet great people who study the Bible and the Book of Mormon in order to learn and grow.

Why is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints called Mormons or Mormonism?

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is called the Mormon Church because of our belief in the Book of Mormon as Another Testament of Jesus Christ. Mormon was an ancient prophet who compiled many records from a people who lived many years ago upon the American continent. The Book of Mormon was a difference from just reading the Bible and many people began to refer to members of our Church as "Mormons." Show more Show less
