Hi I'm Nick

I'm from Minnesota. Love Livin'. and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being outside. I rock climb all the time, and in the winter I ski. Ultimate frizbee is possibly the greatest sport ever and should be in the olympics. I love being with friends, sitin and talking about good times. I'm in university and majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Its way hard, but that what i like about it. I've learned that when you finish something HARD it is way more satisfying than the easy road.

Why I am a Mormon

Because it makes me the man that I want to be. When i think of my role models. They are Strong, Smart, Bold, Quick to act, Powerful, Inspiring, Victorious YET they are Humble, Thoughtful, Loving, Honorable, and Spiritual. Easily able to stand among Kings, yet stooping to help the poorest member of society. The gospel is the most powerful force in my life to help me know who i should be. Christ is the perfect example of all of these.

How I live my faith

At my church I'm responsible for teaching the lessons after the sacrament meeting. It is a really great thing to be asked to do. I dont get paid. I'm given a topic about a week in advance and get to learn about it all week. Then on sunday I share with everyone what I learned. But it gets a little tricky here. My goal is not to just share what I learned. But to have the class really learn and FEEL how i felt when i read the scriptures. Thats one of the things that makes the gospel so amazing. Its not just something that i read and do. Its something that I FEEL. The scriptures touch my heart, but there is a trick. You have to be willing to let it happen, to the point of searching for it. As sons and daughters of God we have the right to choose how we live your lives. But when we search for Heavenly Father though the Scriptures he is always there with open arms.
