Hi I'm Brian

I'm a game designer from Seattle, WA. I have a wife and 2 kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up LDS in the Seattle suburbs. I served as a full-time missionary in Argentina, and I met my wife while going to college many a-years ago. I love playing games of all kinds, with friends and family. I .

Why I am a Mormon

One of my favorite things that Christ taught was that 'by their fruits ye shall know them'. In other words, the positive results of any given lifestyle are the fruits of that lifestyle and can indicate whether or it is good or even if it is divinely inspired. I am continually impressed by the principles taught by the church and how living by those principles results in greater happiness and a richer and fuller life. These fruits are evidence of the eternal truthfulness of the gospel. With Christ as an anchor in turbulent times, and a living prophet to guide us as the world changes, the church provides peace, and stability in an otherwise chaotic and desolate existence.

How I live my faith

I find that as long as I am honest with myself and with others, things tend to turn out for the best. I try to have regular prayer, personal scripture study, as well as family prayer and scripture reading in order to keep an eternal perspective. Regular church attendance is also invaluable.

Why is authority to perform a baptism important?

Brian
As much as I would like to, I cant make a citizens arrest for the idiots speeding on the freeway. In a similar way, the Lord authorizes people to do his work on the earth. Baptism must be performed by someone who has been called of God and set apart to perform that holy act. Show more Show less
