Hi I'm Matt

I'm a Mormon. I have lived here is Idaho and Abroad in Panama City Panama.

About Me

I'm 36 yrs old, Happily married for 6+yrs. I like computers, video games, air-soft, reading my nook, i enjoy watching movies. I was born into Mormonism but my true conversion story started when i was 28 yrs old.As i was a younger I felt Like i was forced to go to church and I rebelled against that I had my Name removed from the church records when i was 21. after a couple of yrs of stumbling in the dark I Finally started going back to a church, not the LDS one. I tried for 2 yrs to believe that what the other church was saying was true, but in my reading and studying I just knew something was missing in what they were talking about. I started asking a friend of mine about the church and things about where to find answers to my questions and after about a year. i finally called to have the missionaries come and talk to me. I spent about 5 mo. reading and studying finding answers to my questions before I finally decided to be baptized for the second time and rejoin the church. I have had my struggles my ups and downs, but ever-time i struggle it just makes my testimony stronger that what it use to be

Why I am a Mormon

i was born into a Mormon family, at the age of 21 I decided to leave "the church" and took out on my own. Tried other Religions and found out that in other beliefs they way they see Mormons is a threat, they tend to bash on them. After yrs of looking into other beliefs and decided to come back to the church . One thing i have seen is when talking to other Mormons, they don't bash on other beliefs. Finding a true Church of Christ has taken me a lot of yrs of stumbling in the dark,

How I live my faith

I'm not the greatest person on living my faith, but i do try. I believe the gospel is true, I do help with service projects. I struggle everyday trying to live the gospel and I find some days are harder than others, I find if I read the Scriptures and Praying everyday, it makes my day go easier.

Are Mormons Christians?

YES Mormons are Christians, for what other Christians believe and what Mormons believe is really not all that different, I know people say its not and they cant be, but them i pose the question What makes a up a Christian? to boil it down the belief in Christ that he Died for our sins.
