Hi I'm Dan

I'm a husband, father, salesman, veteran and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to a wonderful wife that takes care of me and inspires me to live better. I have two children, one boy and one girl, that are a lot of fun and work. I spend a significant portion of each day at work where I sell generators. I have a B.S. degree in Accounting, served for 8 years in the Army Reserves and the National Guard, and I love debating politics. I have given up most of my hobbies so I try and find enjoyment and satisfaction in the daily tasks you have to do to keep your family, work, and civic life moving forward.

Why I am a Mormon

I like simple things that are clear and straightforward. The gospel of Jesus Christ is clearly and simply outlined in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The clearness speaks to my soul and allows me to know that the doctrine is correct. The closer I adhere to the teaching of the prophets the happier my life becomes. I get great comfort to know that my mortal life with all of its difficulties, trials, pains and suffering is not the end. My Heavenly Father's plan for me, my family, my friends, and my neighbors goes on for eternity and premature death or any other tragedy won't change that. In the end, the reason I am Mormon is because the doctrine is true and living it brings happiness and peace even in a dangerous and turbulent world.

How I live my faith

I believe in keeping things simple. I live my faith by making what I do and say match the teachings of Jesus Christ as closely as possible. I believe that it is a constant refining process to root out inconsistencies to make sure my actions match my beliefs. I do not believe that you can seperate what you do at work, at home, or in public life from what you believe at church.
