Hi I'm Kelly

I'm a chiropractic student in northern California. I love cycling and the great outdoors, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I come from a family of 10 kids. It's a lot, i know, but I wouldn't trade it for the world! I've been blessed to have such great friendships with my siblings and we grew extremely close as we moved around the country every 3 years. I served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) for 18 months in the central region of the Philippines. I love those people and their culture, especially the Filipino food! I'm currently a chiropractic student in northern California and it's been an adventure so far.School isn't easy but I look forward to touching lives as I help alleviate the body's pain through spinal adjustments. I'm an avid road biker and the best things about California are the numerous cyclists that share my same passion and the rolling hills that call me out for a long bike ride on Saturdays.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because this church has the complete gospel of Jesus Christ. When Christ was on the earth He was the prophet. He called 12 Apostles, gave them the Priesthood (power to act in His name), and helped them understand that the church has to be led through Revelation (receiving answers from God). Without a Prophet, 12 Apostles, the Priesthood, and Revelation it wouldn't be the same church that Christ established. I'm a Mormon because this church has been brought back to the earth through the Prophet Joseph Smith, whom I know was a true prophet called by God to assist in His work. I feel peace in my life as I following the living prophet today. I'm a Mormon because I've seen peoples' lives change as they choose to follow Christ and keep His commandments.

How I live my faith

I love my Heavenly Father. I show that love by doing whatever I can to love, support, and help the people around me. I visit with the girls whom I attend church with each Sunday and as we take time to talk about God we become better friends and better know how to support one another through our trials. I enjoy singing in the church choir as a fun way to praise God. I live my faith by following Christ's example and trying my best to be a good friend to everyone.
