Hi I'm Sheri

I'm a Mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My main title is Mom. I have 5 wonderful children. My 2 oldest children served missions for our church and taught others about our Savior, one is now married and I have a cute grandson. My next son is currently serving a mission following in their footsteps. My youngest kids ages 15, & 13 keep me busy with their activities. I grew up in Arizona and had a wonderful life as a daughter of a single mother with my brother. I had friends that were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I was drawn to them, their kindness, and their example. As a teenager I attended Seminary with them and learned more about the church. I read my scriptures, said my prayers, and developed a testimony for myself. My study of the church continued for 6 years and I was baptized into the church at age 20. I have experienced many trials, which I have considered to be blessings in my life. Through my trials, I developed a stronger love and relationship with my Heavenly Father and his son, Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for the answer to prayers and for personal revelation to guide me through this life. It has helped me to know how to best live my life and to raise my children. Home is now Southern California and we often refer to it as paradise. I love my time together with my family. I spend time involved in my kids basketball, camping, the beach, water skiing, hiking, music lessons, Scouting, family history, serving in my ward, and my second home - the temple.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I have received an undeniable testimony of the restoration of this gospel, the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is the only church on earth that has concern for those loved ones that have passed on. I believe and we are taught that our families can be together forever. I have had this witnessed to me many times. Families are Forever!

How I live my faith

I try to follow the Saviors example to love, lead, teach, serve, sacrifice and forgive each day. It is a constant effort with the goings on of day to day life to live the life He would want me to live. I am a work in progress and I am being molded into who He wants me to be.
