Hi I'm Becky Wyson Scano

I believe in Jesus Christ

About Me

I was raised by goodly parents in Southern California and Toronto, Canada, the oldest of 11 children. I graduated from BYU in Theatre and Film Arts. I was married and bore 4 children. My husband died in 1992, and I raised four brilliant children with the help of my Heavenly Father. I went back to school and received my Masters Degree in Special Education. I work at a local high school and love my work. I have eight even more brilliant grandchildren. I love my family, my friends and my Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ. My special loves are Theatre, Singing, Teaching, and especially I love researching Family History.

Why I am a Mormon

I belong to the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. "I know who I am and I know God's plan, and I follow Him in Faith." I was raised in the LDS church and was taught the Gospel principles everyday, not only in word but by the example of my parents. My Mother from pioneer heritage was raised in the church, but my Dad was raised in a Catholic orphanage. My father was an avid reader and when he discovered the Book of Mormon he took it to the racetrack with him and would read in-between betting on the horses. He developed a strong testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ as contained in the Book of Mormon. Even though he was not living a Christ-centered life (actually quite the opposite) he joined the church and changed his life, as he said, "over-night." He was a great example to me and taught me not only the principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ but he also taught me principles of all the other religions, which he studied. I grew to appreciate all religions. As a young adult I questioned my testimony but I never doubted that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only true church on the face of the Earth. I love being a "Mormon!"

How I live my faith

"We I claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our my own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may." I do my best to do good during each and everyday and try to lighten someone's load. Working in the high school allows me many many opportunities to be a disciple of Jesus Christ.
