Hi I'm Daniel

I live in Michigan, am almost 2 meters tall, am an English literature/finance guy, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm just a normal person, but do enjoy a lot of different things. I love most sports - like basketball, soccer, and golf - enjoy working in the garden and growing things, and have a lot of fun exploring nature with my wife and kids.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ gives me a solid foundation that doesn't change in a world of shifting values and paradigms. I'm happily a Mormon because the doctrines and teachings make sense. But more than pure logic, living them brings me real joy and happiness because they are the eternal truths our Savior teaches. In short, the gospel of Jesus Christ gives me direction, illumination, as well as much needed motivation.

How I live my faith

Being a Mormon can seem like a lot of work - but it's actually a lot of fun. I help with some of the middle and high school students, as well as coordinate some of the Sunday teaching. I frequently visit others and assess their needs and ways I can help. I guess I try to do a little good in my neighborhood and community.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Daniel
A living prophet, like a modern Moses, is a blessing from heaven. I believe God speaks to us - as His children - both personally and through prophets. Of all the times throughout the world's history, our generation certainly needs heavenly guidance. And a living prophet really does receive divine direction. What a wonderful blessing that God doesn't change and continues to speak to us through prophets. Show more Show less
