Hi I'm Megan

I love my family and photography. I speak Chinese, I actually don't even like dogs! aaaand I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy finding the humor in life because let's face it, life is funny.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a mormon all my life (bless those parents of mine!) and it is great. When I was about 17 I stopped riding on my parent's testimonies and received a witness for myself that the church is true. This led me to serve a full-time mission (which was the best idea I've ever had) for 18 months. God sent me to Taiwan (which was the best idea HE ever had) and it made that testimony I received at 17 even stronger. The Church of Jesus Christ is true and I am so so grateful to be a part of it.

How I live my faith

Many people think that to live our faith is really hard but in actuality it is very simple. God gives us everything we have and in return asks us to read the scriptures daily, pray daily, attend church weekly, and keep the commandments. As I do this I am happy, patient with others, and my life just seems to go smoother. In addition to these simple things I have the opportunity to visit with other sisters in the ward and help others attend the temple. I'm so glad to have that calling because I try personally to attend the temple weekly and it is a huge blessing.

What is being a Mormon like?

Well. Being a member is AWESOME. Really, it is so great to be a part of a religion that clarifies what is expected of us and then promises that as we do those things, we will be happy. As many of our church leaders have said, life is hard- but being a member of the church is not. It simplifies life and helps us know what things are truly important and what things are not.
