Hi I'm Mark

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father to my wife and our four children, 3 sons and 1 daughter. I'm employed in industrial sales. I enjoy fly fishing, woodworking, gardening, and activities involving my family. I served as a missionary in Hawaii. My wife and I moved to Colorado in 2006.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, by that I mean that my parents were Mormon when I was born. So I grew up being very familiar with the Mormon church and the teachings. As with most who are born into the church, I too had to develop my own testimony and knowledge. The teachings of Christ that I was taught "just made sense" to me and any concerns or doubts were quickly resolved through personal study of the scriptures and being taught by those who understood the Gospel better than I did. I know the Gospel of Jesus Christ as taught by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. Through study, prayer, and practicing the principles which were taught to me I have come to know of its truth. I have received a witness of the Spirit of its truthfulness.

How I live my faith

I seek to live as Jesus lives and taught while on the earth. I follow His chosen servants, namely Prophets and Apostles and seek guidance from them through study of what is revealed to them from the Savior. I serve in the Ward as Bishop and have the opportunity to witness inspiration and guidance that is given through the Spirit to those who are called to lead in the church. I try to live a life that would be a good example to others. I strive to serve others by being a good neighbor and friend.
