Hi I'm Tara

I love life, art and my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom to two little boys. I love most anything art and photography. I am trying to get my own photography business going. I also love crafting, cooking, and hugs and kisses from my little boys and their dad.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to parents who both were born and raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I was baptized when I was 8 and have always been a member. When I was a teenager I had a few years where I chose not to honor that membership and my life felt sad, dark and hard. I learned what it felt like to live without the spirit in my life and looking back I know I never want to live that way again. I don't remember a specific time where I knew the Gospel was true. I feel like in my heart I have always just known. For me it's a burning feeling of peace and joy in my heart that I feel every time I think about my testimony and my Savior Jesus Christ. There are so many things in daily life that testify to me that God does live and love us and I am thankful for these each day. I am so thankful for Him and the atonement and that I am able to feel His love and peace even though I make mistakes and for a living Prophet to guide us today.

How I live my faith

Most recently I was asked to be a Bears Den leader in the Scouting program. I was excited to get this calling and learn about Scouting since I have two young boys and I hope to have them participate in Scouts someday as well. Most of my day to day focus is on raising my children and trying to teach and be a good example to them so that they might know of the truth of His Gospel as they get older.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Tara
Yes. We have the blessing to be sealed in Gods temple for eternity which means we can be with our spouse forever. We believe that if we have done all that we can do to keep His commandments and live righteously we can be with our families forever, even after this life on earth ends. Show more Show less

What is being a Mormon like?

Tara
Peaceful. Even though we as members are not perfect and we make mistakes, His Gospel is always true. Show more Show less
