Hi I'm Tony

I am a husband, a father of three girls, a Texan, and, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a graphic designer working in the sign industry. When I am not working I want to spend every moment with my wife and 3 girls. More than anything, I enjoy seeing the light of understanding in my children's eyes when they discover something new about the world, themselves or the Gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I encountered The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in my late 20's after having been a member or visitor of various other churches throughout my life. I knew the Church was true as soon as I started meeting with the missionaries, even before I had read much of the Book of Mormon. I was filled with excitement and I could not deny the bright influence of something not seen. The power of the Holy Spirit was so strong as they shared their message and answered my many questions. Through prayer and study I became convinced that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that the original Church of Christ had been restored to the earth and that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Christ. Since joining, I have accepted several callings to serve, married in the Temple, brought 3 children into the world and experienced many great changes within myself. I know that Heavenly Father knows and loves me and has a plan for my life if I will only seek to obtain His will. I have been pulled from my comfort zone many times to serve in the Church and every time has been a source of great blessings and learning for me. I am a Mormon because I love the Savior and this, His Church, has allowed me to draw closer to Him than I could have ever thought possible.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to be a good representative of Christ. I willingly accept callings to serve in the Church. I visit members of the Church that I am assigned to teach in their homes. I teach the Gospel to my children. I lovingly serve my wife and my family. I strive to remain humble so that I am able to be taught/reproved by the Holy Spirit. I pray often and try to always remember Christ. I study the scriptures as often as possible. I attend weekly Church meetings. I seek to share the Gospel in word and deed. I do these things because I have learned that faith is action and when I act upon direction from the Lord, His servants or his revealed word, I receive a witness of the Spirit that confirms to me that my efforts are not in vain, that Christ's Atonement is real, and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true.
