Hi I'm Carter Aaron Fawson

I am 20 years old, I am a missionary in the island nation of Tonga. I love family, I love Tonga, and I love this church

About Me

I am a 20 year old from Logan Utah. I grew up in the snow and I have spent the past two years in the island nation of Tonga. I have a beautiful family that has taught me well, and I am the youngest of four siblings. I love the Pacific and it's people.

Why I am a Mormon

Christ taught us in the book of John that the Father would send the Holy Spirit and that it would lead us to all truth, and that it would teach us in all things. I am a Mormon because I have felt it in my heart that it is God's true church, and as I continually live the Gospel those feelings grow deeper. I have received my own witness from God that this is where I need to be and where I will be able to return and live with Him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing what Jesus Christ and His prophets have told us to do, and by dedicating all that I have to Him.When the Lord calls, I go and do what He asks. Nothing makes me happier than knowing I am an active participant in His Work of Salvation.

What do Mormons believe about the Holy Ghost? Who is the Holy Ghost?

Carter Aaron Fawson
We believe that the Holy Ghost is a member of the Godhead. Within the Godhead is God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Ghost. Together this Divine threesome performs the work to achieve the eternal life and salvation of all men. We believe that the Holy Ghost is a personage that does not have any flesh or bones, but is a spirit. His role is the be the Testator of all truth, and all those who truly seek for truth will be able to find it through the promptings of the Holy Ghost. When the Holy Ghost speaks to us it is more often than not through our feelings, and we can know that He is teaching us when we feel a burning in our chest, or a small and simple peace within our hearts. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost are one in purpose, work, and direction but they are not the same. They are three distinct beings. Show more Show less
