Hi I'm Kailene

I teach people how to brush their teeth correctly. I'm a young newlywed. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a recently married dental hygienist. My husband and I met in an LDS Institute choir, so naturally music is a big part of my life. My favorite thing to do with music is sing with my sisters. I have five sisters and I love singing with all of them. I grew up in a beautiful small town, tucked away in the mountains. I have a love for cooking and sewing, and I hope to be as accomplished as my mom in both those areas. Recently I've been trying out biking. My husband loves to mountain bike so he's introduced me to it. Most of all, I love spending time with my husband as well as with both of our extended families.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon for many reasons. One reason that has been on my mind recently, is that The Church of Jesus Christ provides me with consistency. I've recently experienced a lot of change, as do all of us. I graduated from college, started my profession, got married, and moved to a new city, all within a few short months. These changes have been a great blessing and have provided me with new and exciting opportunities, and my day to day activities are very different than they were. Knowing that the church is consistent in its teachings about Jesus Christ provides me with the daily consistency I need in order to handle the changes in my life. I know that Jesus Christ knows who I am and that he is aware of where I am.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in many ways but here are a few that first came to mind: -I speak with my Heavenly Father everyday through prayer. I also try to study the scriptures each day to strenghen my faith. -I currently am trying to be more involved with family history work. I'm trying out indexing right now, where I look at old scanned-in records and digitize them. This helps others easily search for an find their ancestors. -I also love attending the temple to help tie families together forever and to give blessings to those that have passed on. -Right now I work with visiting teaching in my ward. I go out and visit other women myself, but I'm also the one that other women report to on how the women they visit are doing and if they need anything.
