Hi I'm Jessica

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy spending time with my friends, listening to music, reading fiction and non-fiction , and writing. I love playing frisbee and basketball.

Why I am a Mormon

My parent's became Mormon before I was born, so I have been raised in this church all my life. As I have grown older I have developed a deeper appreciation for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and for His Atonement. His gospel has help to strengthen me not only spiritually but in every day life as well. When I take His gospel into all aspects of my life I can see the rich blessings that follow.

How I live my faith

I serve as a YSA young single adult representative on several levels. On one level I go out weekly to visit other young single adults who may be struggling or who haven't been to church in a while. I see if they need anything and I tell them about upcoming activities that they might want to participate in. I also serve in this capacity on a regional level where we plan larger scale activities for the young single adults in our area and surrounding areas. I also have the opportunity to participate in the Visiting Teaching program. I have three women that I visit on a monthly basis to share with them a message from the Ensign. I have come to love these girls as though they were part of my family.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

In Matthew 7:7 it says, "Ask, and it shall be given you seek, and ye shall find knock, and it shall be opened unto you." To know if Mormonism is true you simply need to ask Heavenly Father. Sincerely pray to know if it is true and then allow the Spirit to witness it to you. Show more Show less
