Hi I'm Kristin

I'm from Montana. I'm an RN. I love the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I married my high school sweetheart and together we have 4 children, ages 23, 20, 18, and 16. I'm an RN and I love patient care and my job. My favorite thing in the whole world is spending time with my family, we love to hike together, kayak, cross-country ski, ride 4-wheelers, play games, and do just about anything in the great outdoors. Mostly, it is just about being together and building strong relationships. If there is any spare time, I also enjoy quilting and cooking.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because doing my best to live the restored gospel of Jesus Christ has brought more happiness and freedom and peace to my life than any worldly thing ever has or ever could bring. Having a strong faith and building spiritual knowledge is an invaluable commodity in the midst of any of life's storms, and while the people in any organization are definitely never perfect, I know without a doubt, that the doctrines of Jesus Christ are perfect.

How I live my faith

Trying to live my faith does take daily effort, but every effort is well worth the rewards I see not only in my own growth, but also in my family and marriage and community. There are lots of opportunities for service in the church, much of mine has been with the youth in the past, but currently I work with the women, teaching Sunday lessons, or helping when others are sick or have special needs. There are 4 women in particular that I visit each month to see how they are doing and it is great to build friendships and provide help when help is needed. I also help with, and donate to, several of the organizations in town that provide assistance to those in all walks of life who are less fortunate. I try to live my faith by attending church every Sunday, and although I am not perfect, I try my best to do those things that are in harmony with the teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I also fast once each month, for 24 hours and give the money that would have been spent on food, to help others who are in need.

Why do Mormons believe in the Bible?

We believe in, and read, the Old and New Testaments as well as the Book or Mormon. The Bible is an account of ancient Israel on another continent. The Book of Mormon is an account of the American Indians on the North and South American Continents. After Christ's crucifixtion and resurrection, he appeared to both civilizations. It is incredible to have the account of both! Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

First of all, the most important part, is that we believe in Jesus Christ. Joseph Smith helped restore the gospel upon the earth, but Jesus Christ is the head of this church. It is He whom we worship and follow. He was the only perfect Being to live on the earth. He loves each one of us, and he loved each one of us enough to atone for our sins, so that if we live the best we can, and attempt to continually improve, we will live with Him again. He is the Son of God. Show more Show less
