Hi I'm Liz!

I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. It is my dream to go on a humanitarian trip to South or Central America. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm an English teacher who also coaches swimming and loves her job! I am also a self-taught photographer who loves playing the piano and is learning to play the guitar.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because through out the many times I have felt alone, or scared, or hurt, the gospel of Jesus Christ has been my one sure foundation. The principles and teachings of the Church are something that I know to be true. I know God lives and that He loves us. I know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and loves us as well. He is our Savior and Redeemer. I know the Church is true and was restored in its fullness to the earth by the prophet Joseph Smith. I know Thomas S. Monson to be a true prophet of God. I love this gospel and am grateful for the many blessings that have come from living it to the best of my abilities.

How I live my faith

My faith is a large portion of my life. It's a part of who I am, and I wouldn't change that for anything. I'm not perfect by any means, but everyday I strive to be the best I can be.

What is the difference between attending a Mormon Church and a Mormon Temple?

The difference is that a Mormon church is a place where anyone can worship and come to feel the Spirit. The temple, however, requires members to hold a certain recommend which verifies that they are willing and ready to make sacred covenants with Heavenly Father. Show more Show less
