Hi I'm Dan

I'm a Mormon. I treat people with respect. I share what I know to be true with others. I love my family and my Savior.

About Me

I own a custom cabinet shop in Prescott, AZ called Timberline Woodworks. My wife Nancy and I have 4 kids. I enjoy Hiking, Biking, and working on home projects. I'm also a Scoutmaster for troop 9.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in Virginia Beach, VA, I had good friends that were good people and they had something about them that seemed to keep me close. I've known Scott Casson since the 1st grade. I've known Matt and Nathan Corbin since the 5th grade. We all ended up in our high school years together and I always just gravitated towards there families. Matt's mom said one Saturday as I was looking to stay the night at their house, and I can still hear it in my head. "If your going to stay the night then your going to church in the morning" I realize years later that spirit works in marvelous ways and that is what made me gravitate towards these families. In hind site, by all means the Cassons' home was not perfect, but there was something unique and good in their home........It was the Spirit of God. Brian Casson. Scott's older brother was someone who was preparing for a Mission himself, although I didn't know it at the time. He met with me and the missionaries and went and spoke to my Mom about me wanting to be baptized. The Corbin's home was a loving home. They introduced me to the Missionaries, brought me to church and help me understand the truths of the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ here on the earth. One last bit. After joining the church, I went to live with my Dad in San Diego, CA. After 3-5 months of my Dad bugging me to go to church, thus fulfill my commitment of joining the church. One Sunday I went and sat in the back, ready to leave. I had a nice girl approach me claiming that she knew me. I had only been in town for a few months and basically knew know one. She told me that she knew me from living a few doors away, and she took me under her wing. Tami Myers is in a large way my saving grace as to my membership in the church as she was there at that time and turning point in my life. I had know idea til years later. Thank you Tami.....and this is why I'm a Mormon

How I live my faith

I teach a class for young men and young women that are 15 and 16 years old. I'm always willing to help others and serve others, thus serving my Father in Heaven.
