Hi I'm Whitney

I love sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a student excited to be an elementary teacher. I love volleyball and basketball. I've been married three years and married life is great - I love my husband. I have a jack russell terrier, named bullet. He is a fun dog!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the things we believe in and practice are true. I am grateful for the knowledge I have because of the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am grateful to me a member of this church because I know who I am and what God has in store for me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church every Sunday and by also fulfilling my church callings. I've been a primary teacher, relief society teacher, and in the Young W omen's presidency. I've loved all my callings and they have strengthened my testimony on Christ. I also try to do the best I can do everyday - I'm not perfect but I just try to do my best and work on my weaknesses.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Whitney
A Testimony is something that we believe to be true. Testimony's have to be nourished... It can grow every day or it can diminish depending on how we choose to live our lives. I have a testimony on Christ, that He is our Redeemer and the Son of God. I have a testimony on the power of prayer. Heavenly Father hears and answers or prayers. I know that everybody can gain a testimony on these things - it just takes faith. Show more Show less
