Hi I'm Victor

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a professional living in Minnesota. I am from Southern California, and miss the weather but not the traffic. I came out here for work, which was a good move for me. The congregation has a lot of activities and has helped me make friends.

Why I am a Mormon

God has witnessed to me that this is his church.

How I live my faith

I am a clerk for the congregation that I attend. It is not the most glamourous or exciting role but a necessary one. There is not paid clergy, so the administrative work is done by regular members of the congregation like me.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

The physical locations where people worship cost money that comes from the members. The services could be conducted in a low cost location to save money, but they would not then be held in the Lord's house. It is important to point out that the donations to not go to Church leaders. They serve without pay. Show more Show less
