Hi I'm Brandon

I'm a father, a husband, an avid soccer fan, and a linguaphile. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a new father of a baby boy. He's the light of our lives. I love being a father. One of my major interests is writing. I write a lot of poetry and hope to one day write novels. My dream would be to write for a living.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I'm a new father, knowing that my family can be together forever is infinitely important to me. In our Temples, we are married for all eternity, not just until we die. Along with that, we are joined to our families forever. That means we will be with our family members forever. Knowing that gives me so much joy and comfort. I love my family and I want to be with them long after this life is over. I love knowing that I will be. I know that God lives and He is our Father. I know He loves each and every one of us unconditionally. I know Jesus is His Son and our Savior. My life is filled with joy because of my knowledge of their love and existence.

How I live my faith

I currently serve as the Secretary on the board of directors for my Community Association. I enjoy serving the members of my community in this capacity. It's a way for me to give back to my neighbors and to let them know that I care. In my local Church Ward, I organize our Bishop's interviews with Ward members. Our Bishop meets with members of the Ward regularly to get to know them and to inspire them to live good lives. I attend weekly meetings with him and his counselors to discuss the activities and people of the Ward. I'm also a home teacher. That means I visit a couple families in my Ward per month, to make sure things are going well in their lives. I share a spiritual message with each of these families, in their home, once a month. I love getting to know each member of the family better and showing them that I care about them.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

When the missionaries come to your home, they will talk to you about God and Jesus Christ. They will teach you that God is our Father and Jesus is the Savior of the world. They will also share with you how the ancient gospel of Jesus Christ, as discussed in the New Testament, with prophets and apostles, was restored to the earth in our time, through Joseph Smith. They will let you know how families can be together forever. Show more Show less
