Hi I'm Louise

I am a Canadian/Australian/American. I have a passion for design. I'm a wife. I'm a mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Like many women today, I am engaged in the everyday aspects of full time motherhood. I am the mother of four wonderful children and wife to my college sweetheart. I love boating at the lake, beach trips, reading, exercising, date night with my husband, and spending time with my family and close friends. We are loving raising our kids here in Georgia. Although my days are filled with the demands of housework, homework, teaching and rearing, the rewards are immeasurable. I graduated with a degree in Interior Design, and have dabbled occasionally in and out of the design field for the last 15 years. I was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and I am the oldest of five children. We were raised by loving parents in a Christ centered home. My mother is Canadian and was raised in the mormon faith, my father is Australian and a convert to the church. I am proud of my heritage and appreciate the opportunities my parents gave us to live and go to school in both Canada and Australia throughout my childhood. I am striving each day to honor their sacrifices. I am abundantly blessed.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have a love for my Savior Jesus Christ. I have found that by living the teachings of His gospel, I have great peace and happiness in my life. Through personal study and prayer, I have come to know for myself that the gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth through the Prophet Joseph Smith. I know that the heavens are not closed, and that God communicates through His prophets today. He is our loving Heavenly Father. He knows our hearts and has a purpose for each of us. He sent His son, Jesus Christ, to atone for the sins of all mankind, and make it possible for us to return to Him some day. I am so grateful that I can attend church weekly, and there I am able to partake of the sacrament in remembrance of this, renew my baptisimal covenants, and recommit myself to Him. As I turn to my Heavenly Father in prayer, I have felt the sweet assurance that He loves me as His daughter and knows and directs the details of my life.

How I live my faith

I have a strong belief that each day we are given on this earth, we are given an opportunity to do better than we did the day before. I endeavor to "be" better each day, and teach my children to do the same. I am actively trying to show my love for the Savior by serving my family daily. I love serving the women in my congregation by planning meaningful activities that help us develop a deeper love for Jesus Christ. I volunteer at the schools my children attend, and try to show my friends and neighbors that I love and appreciate them.
