Hi I'm David

I was raised in Washington State. I serve in my County Government. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an engineer, a community volunteer, husband and father of five children. I have been married to the love of my life for over 23 years. I enjoy the out of doors and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I come from a line of ancestors that go back to the founding of the Church. However, I made the decision on my own to maintain my membership in the Church and abide by its teachings. I have a wonderful family with a beautiful wife, accomplished children who are making good choices in life, an education, developed talents and a desire to serve my fellow man. I attribute these blessings in my life to my Mormon lifestyle and adherence to the teachings and morals of the Church.

How I live my faith

LIving my faith is far more than attending a weekly church service. I volunteer in my community. I enjoy the friendship of all my neighbors. I participate in church and community based service projects. I feel that the value of my life is the positive impact that I leave on my family, community and the world.

Does The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints endorse political parties?

The Mormon Church does NOT endorse political parties. As members of the Church we are to study the positions of political candidates relative to our belief system and vote for those candidates that best adhere to our beliefs and values. The Church does encourage eligible members to vote in elections.I consider myself an Independent and vote based on the issues at hand and the values and morals that I see in the candidates I vote for.
