Hi I'm Michele Baer
I'm an Inspirational Singer/Speaker, Mother of 6 and Grandmother of 4. I also love cycling and fish tacos! I'm a Mormon.
About Me
My passion is to inspire others to come unto Christ through word and music. My husband and I both grew up in musical families in Northern Calif and now live in Arizona where we have raised 6 kids who also love to perform. Although my spouse is a traveling businessman, we still make time to do competitive cycling and stay involved with charities and fundraisers in our community. I believe Mothers can enjoy raising their families and still find fulfillment in developing their unique talents.
Why I am a Mormon
It's hard to express in a short space the deepest feelings of my heart in this regard. I remember at the age of 8 telling my Father that I knew that Christ lives. He just smiled at me, I'm sure because I was so young but I remember how strong I felt. My conviction has continued after years of study and human experience. Yet the stirrings of the Holy Ghost after reading the words of God's prophets in scripture are the rock that give foundation to my daily life and strength to overcome any opposition. I testify that Jesus Christ is our Savior, that he atoned for all of our sins, that he did appear to the people on the American continent as he prophesied and that we indeed have a living prophet today who continues to reveal his word. I carry a passion to share the message that He truly loves us and desires us to come to Him and find full forgiveness! As long as God continues to bless me to sing and speak, I will share this message of joy and testify that He lives!
How I live my faith
In our church, we get to rotate through different opportunities to serve. Although I currently teach the Sunday School Class, in the past I have been a choir director and have directed the singing for the congregation each week in our church service. I have also had the opportunity in several different cities, to teach and work with the wonderful youth. They are amazing and I love to see their conviction for truth and strength to stand up to peer pressure. I believe in their great potential and that they have been saved..."for such a time as this." Serving in the church is not a chore, but a rich blessing because it helps us practice living Christlike principles among imperfect people. The great programs help us to put these principles into practice. In my community, I am also very involved in local events and the political process. I have friends of many faiths and believe that as the world moves away from living God's laws, we need to stand together with others who also believe in similar moral teachings to preserve our societies and continue to live in harmony.
