Hi I'm Steven

I am part Californian, New Jersey'ian, Virginia'n, and now a Marylander. I have a wife and two kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Los Angeles, California, but now live on the east coast. I studied physics and acoustics in college, and returned to school to get a business degree. I play clarinet and a little piano. My wife also plays piano and sings. I love a good book, good food, and time with friends. I am married with two kids.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because living the everyday practices and principles of the Church gives me answers and comfort. I also love how I feel as an individual when I use what the Church teaches me to help another person. I have been given a lot, and I love to share what I know with others. For example, I have been unemployed in the past for a long time. It was hard on me and my family. I now have a job which took me out of my previous state and far from friends. But a job is a job and I am so grateful for it. Remembering this unemployment reminds me of my other friends who are still unemployed. I try to follow Jesus Christ and continue to follow up with my friends and send them job leads continually. Their pain is still my pain and I want to alleviate that as much as I can because I love my friends and love my Savior. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Every day I try to "do" what I believe. At home I try to be the kind father who listens to his kids. I give my wife a listening ear and help around the house. At work I try to be their for my coworkers and friends by remembering their important events. For me, living my faith is a way of live, everywhere.
