Hi I'm Rob

i was born in the mid-west. i was raised in California near Modesto. i was born into a Mormon family. i am a Mormon.

About Me

i am half blind though those who meet me would argue otherwise. i am an artist but it is not currently a career of mine. i did go to college to study the arts in its many different forms to help refine my skills. i do not have a degree. i also spend time repairing electrical devices form cellphones to computers when i am asked. i enjoy camping, cycling, hiking, scuba diving and most outdoors things. Though i do not drive due to my vision i see it not as a problem. i am dyslexic and the only way people can tell i have vision trouble is when asking me to read. though it does not trouble me to deal with.

Why I am a Mormon

i would love to give some extravagant fancy story. but i am not good at stories. at least i am told. there were times i was majorly depressed and late at night prayed. i prayed with all my heart and soul asking to be freed from my sadness that it was becoming unbearable. and as i sat there where i had given my short prayer. i was soon filled with a feeling of calm the sadness lifted from me. as if i weights were taken from off of me that i could not see. and from that point i knew the church was true. that the lord does answer prayers no matter how simple or small they may seem.

How I live my faith

i live my faith by serving those around me. i find myself helping those i need wither it is fixing equipment or just listening to others to help them release there issues that held inside. in church i usually help maintain the audio and video equipment in the building for those teaching a lesson or to allow a video broadcast to be viewed if necessary. mostly i strive to give those around me an easier life so there focus can be off the troubles that arise and they can focus on thing of more importance than troubles.

Why did your church previously practice plural marriage (polygamy)?

at the time it was practiced in the church. it was for the benefit of a broken family that needed support of a father figure in the household. only through much prayer and special calling to righteous men was one to do such. it was never for sexual purposes. and discontinued as revaluation to the prophet .
