Hi I'm Carol

I have own testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel and feel it is so important that it is worth sharing.

About Me

I have been married to a wonderful man for 23 years and we have 4 children. We do most things together as a family. We live on a small farm, so we take care of animals, chop wood, do yardwork and play hard at swimming, camping, rock climbing and kyaking. I love to learn and be with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up watching my extended family, who am very close to and who are not mormons making different choices simply because they did not know better. Having organized religion and a testimony in my life took me down a different path then they did. Now I see the wonderful place I am in and the blessings that I have that they missed out on. Many of their problems with alcohol, spouses, children, and schooling could have been avoided if they had know of our Heavenly Fathers love for us and the plan he has provided. Who wouldn't rather go through this life with a close personal relationship with the Savior rather then having to go it alone.

How I live my faith

"I'll go where you want me to go dear Lord." These are the words to a beloved hymn of mine. I have lived my life trying my best to keep the commandments even when it has been hard and I have been blessd for that. I try in my daily life to do the things the Lord asks of me. I do this by helping and loving each and every person I meet. I have tried to teach my children about their Heavenly Father and It has helped them to grow into exceptional young people that are confident and making good choice that will bring them happiness in this life and the next. Religion is not just something that I know, it is something that I do everyday. With out my husband, who I am sealed to forever and the blessings of the mormon faith I could never have stayed married this long or been able to raise my children as I have.

How are the activities of the Mormon missionaries funded?

Carol
I have a son serving a mission for the church. He made that possible by working and saving his money since he was 8 years old. He dug fence posts in the heat of the sun, he built saddlestands, babysat, you name it, he worked at it. He gave up buying a car and enjoying many of lifes pleasures as a youth so that he would have the money saved to pay for a mission himself. So most missionaries work and save up the money needed to go on their missions. They sacrifce their own money and time because they now how important the gospel is. They know it is worth giving to others the blessing they have recieved. Show more Show less
