Hi I'm Eric

I grew up in Texas, the Lone Star State. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Most importantly, I am a husband, and father of 4 wonderful children. I grew up in Texas and lived there most of my life. I served a mission for the Church in Spain and have always had a passion for serving others.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I believe in the principals taught by the LDS Church. I have studied a number of other religions throughout my life and had numerous discussions with friends who were not of the LDS faith about their religions, and have never found anything else that makes as much sense as the LDS Faith. I am LDS because I know it is right for me, and the way that I want to raise my children.

How I live my faith

I live my faith most importantly by trying to be an example for good in every thing I do. Making a conscious effort to be a better person in all that I do allows me to share the gospel through my example.

Why don’t Mormons have paid clergy?

One of the greatest blessings about being a Mormon is the opportunity to serve fellow members by being an active part of the congregation. Everyone takes turns in various callings from the top down, which means the church has no need for paid clergy. Show more Show less
