Hi I'm Judy

I call Arizona home and love the desert. I am a breast cancer survivor and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a mom, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. I am a widow. I like to cook, bake sweet treats and making bows. I love being with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to a inactive mother and a non-member father. When I was seven years old my Dad was baptized. When I turned eight, my Dad baptized me a member. I have been a member all of my life. This does not mean I always made the right choices. I understand the principle of repentance and have had to apply that principle in my life. I always had a testimony and have always known that this is God's true Church on the earth today. I have been active and served my whole life. It was not until my husband died last year that my testimony deepened and the principles I was taught and believed penetrated deep. I knew that God's promises were sure. His plan for me was not my plan for me. I had nowhere to go to soften the sadness and heartache but to Him. I read my scriptures everyday and for hours. It seemed to be thing my Spirit ached for, the thing that brought peace and comfort. I always thought that I was firm in my foundation. It was not until my eternal companion left this earth that my foundation became solid. I know my Heavenly Father loves me. That Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer and that He atoned for not only my sins, but all of my sorrows and pain. That He rose on the third day and because He lives, I will live again too, with my family, never to be separated again, for all eternity. I have chosen to be a member of God's true Church because it is the path, as long as I am obedient, back to God. There is joy and happiness in doing what God asks. Much has been given and much must given back.

How I live my faith

I coordinate the visiting teaching in the Ward. My last calling I was the Primary President. It was my favorite place to be. I love to teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to Heavenly Father's little children. In June I will begin volunteering at the cancer treatment center in my community.
