Hi I'm James

I'm a father of five great sons and of whom I'm very proud of all their accomplishments. I love everything about my church.

About Me

When I have time, which is at least once a week, you can find me on the golf course. I have thought about joining the senior tour, ok, I have some work to do before then. My profession over the last 30 plus years has been in the fast food world. There have been ups and downs however it has provided a great means of caring for the physical needs of our family. My family is my greatest joy.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I was taught at an early age to trust in God, follow His Prophets, and do all you can to serve His children. I have been a member all my life, a short 51 years and I am grateful to a loving Heavenly Father who has made it possible for repentance so we can make necessary course corrects to stay on tract. I have a testimony of Eternal Families and that through proper ordinances we can be sealed together for ever.

How I live my faith

Do my best to in all I do to be a light unto the world. I'm currently in the Bishopric and previous to that I served as the Ward Young Men's President, meaning I had the privilege in working with the young men ages 12 to 18 years of age. I am grateful to the programs of the church that check in on our members. My good wife and I have raised 5 great boys, 4 have or are serving missions, 3 have married in the Temple.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Our Father in Heaven gives us everything we have and only asks for 10% back to move the kingdom forward, that is easy. If we are promised that the windows of Heaven will be opened to us why would we deprive ourselves of that blessings. When I see our buildings and temples throughout this earth I feel that I had a part in there construction because I was willing to give. Show more Show less
