Hi I'm Greg

I'm a student with a passion for filmmaking, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Although I have a passion for filmmaking, I’m still trying to explore and find out who I am and what path will make me happy. I enjoy getting outdoors and spending time with others. I’m not a big talker, but I love to laugh; I’m a sucker for a good story and a funny joke. I am preparing to serve a two-year mission where I will help people come to know Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

God has done so much for me in my life. I have a loving family, a body that functions, I can think, act, write, and speak. I am grateful for everything. When I first read the Book of Mormon it strengthened what I already felt inside: God loves me and wants me to be happy. As I read it, everything just made sense. You could say it clicked with my soul. I don't mean that I actually understood everything it said, but it all felt right; I felt that I could trust it.

How I live my faith

I like to live by the scripture in the Bible, John 6:66-68, where Peter says to Jesus, "Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life." And I figure that if Jesus has all the right answers, why look anywhere else? But I know I'm not perfect, so I just try to do my best and hope to accomplish whatever is put before me. It is hard sometimes, especially when I am asked to do something I haven't ever done before, but in knowing that God wants me to be happy, I am less afraid of doing it even if it is difficult or hard to understand.
