Hi I'm Jordan.

I enjoy reading, technology, the outdoors, and spending time with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband to a wonderful wife and a father of a wonderful daughter. I work as a manager of a help-desk in the hospitality industry.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I came to know for myself, though, that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God by praying and asking our Heavenly Father. He answered my prayer of faith.

How I live my faith

I serve in the church in a variety of ways. Most importantly, I serve as a "home teacher" with a young man in our congregation. As part of that, we visit the members' homes and share a message once a month. We also offer assistance in any way possible. In addition, I help run the Sunday meetings, extend calls to serve in the congregation and work with the youth in the Boy Scouts of America program. This is a very enjoyable experience because I am able to minister with and for people almost everyday. But above all of that, I try to help those around me. I try to love them, to look for the good in them, to be patient with them, to show charity toward them, to follow Christ.

Are Mormons Christians?

The short answer is: Yes, absolutely! We worship Jesus Christ as our literal and personal Savior. I know that He has saved me from my sins and that, because I have accepted Jesus as my Savior and been baptized, I will return and live with Him. I am so grateful for this knowledge. My only part of this marvelous gift is to follow Him. Christ said, "If ye love me, keep my commandments" (John 14:15). I know that I can never repay this wonderful gift, but I can do everything in my power to follow Him and keep His commandments. I will fail, but through His Grace (the Atonement), I will be saved and will "rise...up again at the last day" (John 6:39). Show more Show less
