Hi I'm Greg

I'm a Phoenix native, husband, father of six and papa to 7. I am a serial entrepreneur and business consultant. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My sweet wife and I have been married 33+ years. Four of our six children are married and we now have 7 grandchildren. I practiced law for 16 years, then gave it up to pursue business interests. I consider myself a "serial entrepreneur" because I love working with business start-ups and have worked with hundreds of small businesses over my career. I am currently involved in property management and am also a part-time professor at a local graduate school. I love the outdoors and have served as a leader in the Boy Scouts for over 25 years. I enjoy singing in choirs, quartets, and solos. I also play the trombone and baritone, but my favorite instrument is the harmonica. My family loves to travel to Rocky Point, Mexico where we enjoy the beach and the local culture. We can't wait to retire there and help the local people.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a member of the church and have always been active in it. That said, I did serve a mission in Germany and do not live under a rock. I have made it a practice to learn about other beliefs and have many friends of different faiths. No one makes me go to church every week, say my prayers, or read the scriptures. I have found the peace I seek in the the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and know others can also. This church offers me the peace that comes from having all my questions about life answered. My continued adherence to God's commandments allows me the freedom to feel the direction of His Spirit on a daily basis. That is my motivation to continue on the path I learned growing up in this church.

How I live my faith

I'm also human and have made my share of mistakes over the years. I live my faith by sharing my testimony of Jesus Christ and His atoning sacrifice. I find that many of the people I come in contact with have questions about life and why bad things happen. I enjoy sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and God's Plan of Salvation to help others to find the answers to their questions. I currently serve in my church as a part-time missionary, going weekly to the homes of those interested in hearing more. Just prior to this, I served as a Scoutmaster for the Boy Scout Troop in our church. I love teaching others about my faith and helping young people to understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have been a long time instructor in church seminaries and institutes on a volunteer basis and enjoy helping others to understand the scriptures and God's Plan of Salvation for all His children. I try to do my best on a daily basis to live my faith. I invite others to join me in this daily effort and feel the peace I have found.
