Hi I'm Lizzi

I grew up in Utah, and I live in Salt Lake City with my husband. I love music and being with my family.

About Me

I really love listening to and thinking about music. I spend at least half of my day fantasizing about playing every instrument in the world! I spend the other half of my day being really sad that I don't :) I'm married and although I don't have any kids yet, I love being around them and love having them share their perspectives with me. I have a cat that makes me think that she is a hybrid of every cute animal that ever lived, ever. She has made me love many of her furry compatriots on account. When I'm not at work I like to spend time with my family and time outdoors. I'm not a super athletic or daring person, but I find my own quiet ways to see the beauty in nature. I take pictures of what I see when I have someone's camera to borrow, and I love putting those pictures in places where I can be reminded of the good and beautiful things that I've seen in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

If I'm being honest, I'm a Mormon because I was raised that way. But as I've gotten older, I've been able to see the ways that being a Mormon has helped me experience happiness through my relationships and through my understanding of Heavenly Father's love for us, and I feel lucky that I have been born into such an opportunity to serve and support my friends, neighbors, community and family through my membership in the church. Those are some of many reasons why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to understand the people I interact with on a day to day basis, and to try to find ways to help them where I feel they may need it, and where I know I could be of help. I try to be a kind and a helpful person to everyone I meet, usually in really small ways. I have faith that every person who is alive, and who has lived, and who will live is a child of God, and are my brothers and sisters. I know how much I love and respect my own brothers and sisters I try to extend that same understanding and patience I have for them to everyone around me.
