Hi I'm Maurie

I'm a middle school principal. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being with my family. I have a wonderful wife and four growing boys and a new baby girl. I help coach youth sports. Although I dedicate my professional life to helping middle school students succeed, my real joy comes in helping my family and spending time with them. I feel like I am in heaven when I get home from school and my little baby girl smiles at me. I am grateful that Heavenly Father has allowed me to experience a glimpse of His love by blessing me with wonderful children and a loving wife.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I know that Heavenly Father has a plan for His children. Part of that plan, the most important in my opinion, is that families can be together forever. Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints helps me keep a good perspective on what is most important in this life. It has also helped me answer the fundamental questions of where we came from, why we are here, and where we will go after this life is ended.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be a good father and an honest person. By strengthening my family, and trying to have love in our home, I feel happy.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Mormons believe that family relationships can last forever. We can and will be our family members, even when this life ends. It is important to cultivate strong family relationships while on this earth. Show more Show less
