Curtis: Mormon.

Hi I'm Curtis

About Me

I enjoy mountain biking, hiking, camping, fishing, and the outdoors. I enjoy soccer, volleyball, and many other sports. I love spending time with my wife and beautiful children.

Why I am a Mormon

My ancestors knew and loved Joseph Smith, they loved the Lord and sacrificed everything to keep the commandments of God. They have passed on a heritage of faith to me and I am simply walking in their footsteps. I have many personal experiences that have built my testimony that the Lord approves of my decision to remain a Mormon. My family and I are stronger and are closer when we follow the living prophets.

Personal Stories

How has attending Church services helped you?

It brings me peace. It grounds me to the gospel. It helps me get focused on the most important things in life. It is a time for my family to sit together and learn the doctrine of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith one day at a time, one decision at a time. When I was baptized I put away my will and agreed to take upon me the name of Christ. I promised to mourn with those who mourn and comfort those who stand in need of comfort. By listening to the still small voice or Holy Ghost, I am led safely along the path of righteousness. I am not perfect and I falter many times, however, I am able to weekly partake of the sacrament of our Lord and renew the covenant I made at baptism. As I take the bread and water of the Lord's sacrament, I am cleansed from my sins.
